This 45-70 Trapdoor Springfield - Ramrod Bayonet Model - Model 1873 rifle has a round tapered 1" to 3/4" x 32-1/2" barrel with a good bore. The rifle has original rifle sights with a P grade Walnut stock. Some color case hardened color seen on the trapdoor action that is dated US Model 1884. The cartouche on the left side of the butt stock is dated 1892.. Stamped on the lock side of the butt stock is 717 and 13 NY. Behind the trigger guard is a P in a circle and an H. The butt plate has a slide away for the cleaning rod/tool compartment in the butt stock. Does not come with a cleaning rod or tools. Length of pull is 13-1/2". Please Note: This rifle has replacement wood for the last 10" at the muzzle end of the stock, visible in the photos. Good wood to metal fit - made by Springfield Armory. Condition: Good. Stock number P-98-19, please use this number when referencing this item. Will ship anywhere in the USA, buyer pays freight.
