Description:
Colt 1862 Pocket Navy Conversion in .38 Rimfire.  All matching serial numbers including the cylinder.  3 1/2" solid lug barrel with out the ejector housing which is normal for this model.  Stagecoach holdup scene still visible and in good condition.  There is still a good amount of silver left on the trigger guard and backstrap.  The walnut grips are in good condition.  Built originally as a conversion in 1873.  Colt built 6000 of these guns.  Approximately half of the production were built in .38 rimfire and the other half in .38 centerfire.  Overall this is a fine specimen of an early Pocket Navy Conversion.
