Antiqued “NASHVILLE PLOW WORKS” Reproduction Saber
With Backstrap Inscription “Cpt. W.A. N.C. 1864”
Here we present a Reproduction “Nashville Plow Works” Saber. This saber was made to resemble one of the most famous of the Confederacy’s blades. The backstrap is inscribed with “CPT. W.A. N.C. 1864.” The ricasso is marked “NASHVILLE PLOW WORKS” on the left and “CS/1862” on the right. This sword and scabbard have been antiqued to resemble one that is of significant age.
