Payment Types Accepted: Credit Card, Certified Check, Money Order Description: Antique “Isaac Hollis & Sons” Double Barrel Shotgun 19th Century British Shotgun Here we present an antique Isaac Hollis & Sons Double Barrel Shotgun, manufactured in London circa the 1850s.  Isaac Hollis & Sons were British gunmakers from London. Throughout the years, Hollis manufactured sporting firearms for the South African market and inexpensive guns for trade. They also built rifles for the British government. Around 1915, Hollis merged to form the company of Hollis, Bentley and Playfair. They remained in business until 1935. Hollis also built some very good quality guns.  Both locks are marked “HOLLIS & SONS”. The top of the barrel is marked “LONDON FINE TWIST”. The overall condition is good. The metal surfaces are dark with age. The ramrod tubes have been brazed back on. The markings are clear and legible. The bores are dark and smooth. The stock is in good shape.
