This a beautiful 100% original and unfired 1990 vintage Sig Sauer P226 9mm two tone pistol with a satin nickel slide complete with the original box, manuals, extra magazine, hang tag, and test target. The slide is date marked "KA" which translates to 1990 which is when Germany was re-unified, but the slide is still marked "Made in W. Germany". This factory two-tone variation with a satin nickel slide is a lot scarcer than the standard all black pistols. This pistol has spent it's entire life in storage. Both the nickel and black finish rates 99% plus and there are no signs of carry or finish wear. The barrel has a minty bright bore with sharp lands and grooves and shows no signs of firing since it was factory test fired. The exterior of the barrel is also minty and like-new. There is none of the finish wear on the last 1/3rd of the barrel that appears after only a few mags being run thru it. The internals of this pistol are spotless, including the bolt face of the slide. The original factory grips are like the rest of the P226, perfect with no signs of wear including the grip screws which are pristine. Everything on this Sig P226 works 100% like the day it left the factory. It comes complete with the original serial numbered box and all of the items it left the factory with, all of which are in great shape. If you have been looking for a collector grade West German Sig for your collection this sought-after 2-tone P226 9mm would be a superb choice. It would be impossible to upgrade from this example!
