A 28” barrels Silver Hawk cased in a linen case with brass corners. Bore are like new at .728 “ with chokes at .028 and .040 (tight Mod ,tight Full)
Perfect 3” chambers , ejectors with cutoff switch . Blacking in 99% original condition. Boxlock action , with Purdey flat bolt , single selective trigger,
Coin finish with 60% engraving coverage, long trigger guard. Both cosmetically and mechanically in 99% original condition.
Nice fiddle back walnut stock , with 14 3/8” LOP over factory ½” plastic butt plate , 1 ¼” & 2” drop and 3/8” cast off . Satin oil finish with light handling marks.
Both wood and checkering are in 98% condition. The guns weighs 6Lbs. 9Oz and balances at the hinge. I doubt the gun has fired a box of shells. Good value.
