I am a new seller on GunsInternational, but am a forty year collector of high condition antique American firearms. It is time to sell some guns out of my collection. My prices are reasonable for the quality of the guns and I plan to stick to them. On this gun, I will pay for the shipping and insurance by FedEx ground. I will not ship outside the U.S. I am retired and will discuss this gun with interested parties between 8:00AM and 8:00PM central time any day.
This Model 12 trench gun is magnificent. You can only match it in condition, you can't beat it. The late Pat Redmond, a good friend of mine and owner of the best trench shotgun collection in the country, saw this gun in a private collection around 1980 and pursued it for the last 20 years of his life. He said it was better than any he had ever seen. Pat was never successful in making the purchase. I was.
The bore is a mirror. Those of you who are candidates for this gun know how important the "thumb print" mark at the lower front of the ejection port is in proving original finish.
