Description:
This is a rare and original gold picture box for a Pre Model 27 Smith & Wesson with an 8 3/8" barrel and blue finish, from the 1950's. A rather hard to find box for one of the lower-production variations. The box is in nice shape with some shelf wear and aging, though still nice considering it's nearly 70 years old, doubly so considering the rarity. You won't find another such box anytime soon.
