Winchester Model 12Y 12 Gauge Imp Cylinder
Last of the great quality-built and honestly machined Winchester Model 12 shotguns. The Y model was for all intents and purposes the last gasp of the grand old guard machinists at Winchester. Competition forced Winchester to abandon the high polished machined blue steel beauty for cost cutting measures. This Winchester Model 12Y bears serial # Y2020751. The barrel is 26 inches long and is factory fixe choked at Improved Cylinder. The barrel also features a red foresight and silver bead midway down the ventilated rib. Blue finish remains at 98% possibly a tad better. Wood is highly figured with abundant tiger stripe in the forend and great curl and color in the butt stock. There is an area about the size of a quarter maybe slightly larger on the forend where the stain and semi-gloss clear coat have been damaged. Photos make it look much worse than it is in person. Winchester recoil pad rounds out the butt stock LOP at 14 inches. Drop at comb is 1 5/8”. Shell elevator and bolt are jeweled or machine turned. This shot gun appears to have not been shot much and quite possibly not at all. Magazine tube and slide rail are devoid of any wear marks except what may have been incurred by operating the action to wipe down and clean. I love IC choked shotguns for skeet and early season doves and the gunner simply cannot beat them for quail on the rise.

Returns: Our return policy is simple. It is important to us that you are happy. Guns must not be fired or dissembled before returning them and they must be returned in the same condition as received. Notification of a return must occur with-in 3 days of delivery at your dealer. Shipping, convenience and dealer fees are not refundable and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Ammunition cannot be returned.
Lay-a-way: If desired, we offer a 30,45 or 60 day lay-a-way option on most firearms. It is 1/3 now, 1/3 in 30 days and 1/3 in 60 days. Lay-a-way firearm sales are final and if not completed the payments cannot be returned.
