Description:
A stunning work of art, from the exhibition grade wood, the petite, tasteful scroll engraving, and the case coloring to set it all apart from the rest. Ribbed barrel and raised quarter rib to accomodate the mounts and rear sight, gold bead front, folding rear, and topped with a Leupold compact 3x9 with a dot reticule. This was Nelson's "Pearl" grade, without the enlayed pearl because the origional owner did not care for the pearl. Condition is as new with a couple of very minor forearm edge mars, probably from the safe storage. The buttstock appears unmarred and with a checkered steel buttplate. Weight is 7# and 5oz and a 24" barrel as pictured with the scope. Grip cap is case colored, engraved as is the screwhead in the same light scroll engraving. 22 Hornet is engraved in gold as is the "S" for the safety.
