Description:
Mint bore, never issued rifled musket, brass furniture - all three bands are Brass - butt plate is brass -all in minty condition. Rifled musket not smoothbore.
Thousands of these rifles were bought by the Union as the production of Springfields could not keep up
with the demand during the Cival War.

This is a beautiful rifle to hang on the wall dated 1842 on barrel. A geniune Civil War piece.

I have owned this piece for nearly 45+ years -bought from a fellow collector in Old Town Alexandria,Virginia.

Rare to find an unfried rifle  from the Civil War.  Price reduced.

Three brass bands and brass butt plate-a handsome piece!

A Belgium/French made rifled musket with a very rare unfired mint barrel

Make me an offer I can't refuse!
