Westley Richards 12g boxlock ejector completed in 1924. Originally built as an Explora the gun was rebarreled in 1936 with 30" 12g barrels. The fixed lock action features two triggers, dolls heads extension, snap lever work and automatic game safety. The action retains some good colour and is partially scroll engraved. The 30" barrels feature 2 3/4" chambers, engine turned concave rib and choked extra full in both barrels. The rounded pistol grip stock measures 14 3/8" to the centre of the horn heel plate, splinter forend with horn forend tip. The gun is a heavy weight live pigeon style gun and although it would benefit from a refurbish, it is mechanically sound and would be a great high bird gun.
