Description:
This is an extremely rare and all-original Smith & Wesson 2nd Model .44 Hand Ejector, one of only 565 chambered in .44-40 Winchester built in 1930. There were only 510 produced with a 6 1/2" barrel and blue finish!

The gun remains in very good condition retaining 95%+ of the original bright blue finsih with holster wear primarily on the muzzle edges and cylinder, with some scattered minor aging. The barrel, cylinder, frame and original silver-medallion service grips are all numbers matching. The grips have near perfect checkering and are very crisp. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the gun functions perfectly. Overall a handsome N-frame in a rather rare chambering that would be tough to replicate.

Call anytime day or night. Be sure to check out our other fine listings!
