Description:
Very clean, all original and quite difficult to find Stainless Barreled Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 in .300 HH Magnum caliber. Condition of Bluing is outstanding, showing better than 98%. The Varnish is rated somewhat less, perhaps near 95% due to a cluster of scratches around left stock flute and a few other isolated spots scattered about. Serial # is 320*** indicating Mfg. date of 1954. The etched S/N on bolt remains clearly legible and matching. Barrel length is 26" with an Excellent bore. Mechanical function is flawless. Has the desirable solid bolt knob. All components such as sights, swivels, hood, etc. are factory correct.
This is a very fine and scarcely configured rifle, adding to it's collectibility, which shows only light and careful use considering it's amazing 64 year lifespan!
