Description:
Rare Winchester 25-35 Short Range ammo box full of the original, unfired 20 rounds of ammo with matching headstamps and primers. 2 piece box with red label and tan bottom, not dated, and has the yellow smokeless "Sunburst" sticker. Dates to 1896 production. Lettering very clear. Box shows light edge wear and splits to the upper lid at left end but still all together and intact. Bottom portion of box extremely solid with no damage but a few spots of ink staining. You don't run across these "Short Range" boxes every day!!
