Description:
Designed as a lower end rifle with locking lugs at the rear of the bolt, Remington managed to produce the 788 as a high performing rifle, rivaling the performance of their flagship Model 700. This one is chambered in 6mm Rem, an equivilant to the 243 Winchester, and features raised comb, ebony butt plate, original sights, and ready for a scope.

Metal Condition: Very good. Some fading near the muzzle and a few minor pits.
Wood Condition: Very good. A couple of minor dents. Looks mostly like handling dents.
