About Us: With two partners, I own Pawnee Sportsmens Center LLC, near Fort Collins, Colorado. We have rifle/pistol ranges, 1000-yard range, 3-gun, cowboy action shooting, trap and skeet, and upland game bird hunting. I primarily deal in Lever Action Winchesters and Colt Single Action Army revolvers. We have some Colt and Winchester parts, and I manufacture the Columbia Precision Tang Peep Sight for lever guns and some single shots. If you Google Columbia Precision, you can get to my direct email.

Description:
This is an exceptional Colt Single Action Army revolver, .38 WCF, 7.5” barrel, in that it was sold to Winchester Repeating Arms in New Haven, Connecticut, but was shipped to Browning Bros. in Utah, with seven other guns, June 16, 1902 (serial number 228170). Colt authentication letter will accompany gun.

The condition of the gun mechanically is very good, but there is virtually no original finish showing, with the exception of some protected areas like the cylinder flutes. It is obviously well cared for as there is very little, very shallow pitting in some areas, but the sheen of the original metal finish is apparent. The bore is good and the lock-up very firm, with all four clicks.

The Colt is accompanied by an early 1900’s H. H. Heiser, Denver, Colorado, double loop, heavy leather holster and cartridge belt with 24 loops.

Our prices reflect a 4% discount for cash or certified funds (Cashier’s Check, USPS Money Order – no Western Union or other type money order). Credit card payments do not receive this discount. We can take VISA or MasterCard and will consider trades for U.S. gold and silver coins at spot value. Contact information can be found by Googling Columbia Precision (tang sights).

We do not accept returns. Look at the pictures carefully - call or email with questions before you buy.
