Description:
Heym 88B PH in .450/400 NE with Docter Red Dot site mounted on quarter rib. Like new condition when I purchased it last year for a recoil-sensitive son to take on safari. A mercury recoil tube has been inserted into the stock, and the original recoil pad was replaced with a Pachmayr trap pad and Pachmayr spacers to get a 14-7/8" - 15" LOP. Modifications made by Dustin Mount at Gordy and Sons in Houston. Rifle served its purpose well, including a buffalo at over 110 yards. Rifle has the wear of one safari - soft recoil pad shows scratches from thorns, wood has minimal if any scratches, slight bluing wear near end of barrels from 14 days of carry.
