About as good as it gets...Here is a superb Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade in the ever popular .270 caliber. Condition is simply outstanding, with both Blue and Varnish easily rating 98-99% by anyone's standard. Serial # is 152*** indicating Mfg. date of 1950. The etched S/N on bolt remains clearly legible and matching. Barrel length is 24" with mint bore. Mechanical function is flawless. Has the desirable early style solid bolt knob. All components are of course 100% factory correct including the full length gold bead Redfield 255 front sight with proper hood, SG swivels, 22g rear sight with 4 step elevator, etc.
Rifles of this quality and condition seldom surface and this particular example would be exceedingly difficult to upgrade.
