Description:
Winchester Model 1894 .23-35 WCF. This is an unusual gun. Factory letters as rifle, 25/35 with Octagon barrel. Manufactured in 1904, it features and 20 Octagon barrel with a carbine sight and a cresent butt plate. It also has what appears to be a "cattle brand" carved in the right side of stock. A lot of metal finish is gone but has very good finish in protected areas, especially on lower part of barrel and upper part of magazine tube and the tang. Receiver retains 10-15% blue. For the most part, wood to metal is pretty good. Strong rifling but bore is a little frosty. At time this was made, you could order most any feature you wanted.
