Winchester M-70 Cal .270 Serial No. 269147 was mfg about 1952 and is in Excellent Condition with about 98 % of it's original bluing, The stock Has a beautiful Reddish Tone
& a fine subtle grain throughout. It has a semi - gloss finish with no dings, cracks or dents. The checkering is flawlessThere is a slight handling mark above the trigger housing that is barely visible - about 96 % overal.
overal. The action is smooth and it appear that it has had very little usage. The buttplate is steel w/the horned and unique configuration and is also very nice.The bore is a mirror
and w/a nice distinct twist. There is no edge wear on any of the bluing.
It's set-up w/a Weaver K-3 Scope that is in mint condition & is very clear.
This is to me is in the collector catagory and would make an excellent addition to anyones M-70 collection. It overal, to me is an "NRA Excellent".
