Description:
Vintage 2d year production Winchester model 100 in desirable .308. Considered by some to be one of the finest woods deer rifles ever produced (fast 2d follow up shot without loosing the sight picture to rack in a 2d shot) handy clip fed (ideal for in and out of a deer camp or truck for easy loading and unloading).
It comes with the clever and unique Williams side mt scope mount wich has a peep site site integral with it such that if the scope becomes fogged or has rain or snow you can use the peep under the mounts which over hang the site picture for lack of a better description.
Gun has been hunted, in its almost 60 yrs, not abused. There are no cracks, splits or repairs or meaningful dings or loss of finish; just normal hunting wear. We will describe it as 70 to 75% condition. Bore is excellent.
NOTE; SCOPE SHOWN IS NOT INCLUDED BUT IS AVAIL CHEAP AND IS A GREAT SCOPE: Scope is an excellent Vintage El Paso Tx Weaver 1.5 x 4.5 Half Tube Duplex. Scope has blue loss but has nice optics. Scope is avail for $ 45.00 if shipped with the gun. We have MANY good vintage used scopes at bargain prices inquire.
