Designed by the infamous John Browning and manufactured by Remington, the model 24 is a .22 short semi-auto rifle with a unique design. This takedown model is designed to separate the barrel and receiver without tools, making it easier to transport. It's one of only 131,000 made between 1922 to 1935. This particular 24 is in very good condition: there is some oxidation and pist on the barrel and receiver, and there is finish wear on the edges of the metal. The forend has a blemish, and there are small marks throughout the wood of the rifle. The bore is clean and sharp. A classic piece
