This is a beautiful unfired and minty Winchester Model 70 Classic Super Grade in the very scarce chambering of .264 Winchester Magnum. Winchester made a limited production run of this rifle in this caliber for 1 year only, in the year 2000. This Winchester Model 70 Classic Super Grade features a high gloss blue finished 26" inch barrel with no sights mated to a controlled round feed action with a Mauser-style stainless steel extractor, a jeweled bolt, a 3-position safety, a 3-shot internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, and a deluxe satin finish checkered Walnut stock. The stock has an ebony forend tip, a blued steel pistol grip cap, deluxe inletted sling swivel mounts, and a Monte Carlo style buttstock with a cheekpiece. This example is serial number G354819 and is unfired since being test fired at the factory. It has spent it's entire life in storage. It is in beautiful all-original condition with the factory high gloss blue finish rating 99%, with the only deduction coming from a couple of tiny little scratches under the safety on the rear tang of the receiver. There is a close-up picture provided of this spot in the listing. The jeweled bolt is beautiful and bright, with no visible signs of wear and it is numbered to the rifle with electro-pencil. The bore is immaculate and bright, with perfect rifling and no visible imperfections. The factory deluxe stock is pristine with no signs of wear or use. All of the stock hardware was perfectly fit by the factory and tight to the stock. The action itself and all of the controls are crisp and work 100% like the day it left the factory. This Winchester comes with the original box complete with the factory end-label serial numbered to the rifle and all of the paperwork it left the factory with. The original owner's manual, retail advertisement hangtag, warranty card, etc. are all in the box as well as the paper it was wrapped in and the styrofoam inserts. The limited production of this rifle in this cool caliber will certainly make it a sought-after rifle in the years to come.
