The Limited Edition Remington Model 700 CDL SF series of rifles was introduced in 2006 with Remington making a limited run of rifles in only one caliber each year. The rifles featured a 24" inch stainless steel fluted barrel, a checkered satin-finish Walnut stock with a black forend tip and pistol grip cap, factory sling swivel studs, a factory Remington-branded recoil pad, an X-Mark Pro adjustable trigger, and an engraved floorplate with the caliber designation and bullet profile design. This particular example is the 2010 model in .280 Remington caliber and it is minty and unfired in the original box. The stainless steel receiver and barrel and the alloy triggerguard and floorplate are in like-new condition, with no signs of wear or marring. The engraved design on the floorplate is crisp and clean. The bore is pristine and bright with sharp rifling and no visible imperfections. The factory checkered Walnut stock rates 99% with the only visible mark a tiny u-shaped scratch on the right side of the buttstock. If you look closely in the close-up picture of that area you can see it slightly above and to the right of the sling swivel stud. All of the controls on this rifle and the action function 100% like the day it left the factory. This rifle comes with a new Timney adjustable trigger installed in it in addition to the factory X-Mark Pro trigger. All of the Timney paperwork is in the original box this rifle came in, along with the original factory trigger, owner's manual, triggerguard hang tags, barrel tag, action lock, warranty card, etc. The box has the factory end label intact serial numbered to this rifle as well as the paper the rifle was wrapped in and the styrofoam inserts. This beautiful and unique rifle would be an excellent addition to any rifle collection, and the limited production numbers of this rifle should make it a great long term investment.
