Description:
This .38 caliber (.395 dia) Rupp - Half Stock rifle has a browned octagon 13/16" x 38" barrel with a 1:66 twist and fitted with fixed sights. The bore is very good. Inscribed on the top flat is R Southgate and stamped on the tang is 285. The P grade Cherry stock is mounted with brass furniture, including a poured pewter nose cap and three German silver diamond inlays. The Back Action percussion lock is activated by double set triggers. Length of pull is 13-3/8", overall length is 52-1/4", weight is 8 lbs. Good wood to metal fit - made by R Southgate.
