WWII WW2 JAPANESE ARISAKA TYPE 2 (TYPE 99 VARIATION) 7.7MM TAKEDOWN PARATROOPER RIFLE. Serial number "181XX". Nagoya arsenal(only arsenal that made these). Circa 1943-44. Rear half all matching sans dustcover and rear exterior collar(where connects to front half, missing one small screw). Front half with matching barrel and original cleaning rod but front band(bayo lug) not matching number. All else is in working order with nice stock with correct inspection stamp rear of lower tang, swivel slot, correct rear sight with AA wings and perfect working order along with tight lockup on takedown feature. Mint bore and tight lockup. Mum partially ground of but other markings crisp with original finish remaining.
