WW2 WWII JAPANESE ARISAKA EARLY TYPE 44 6.5MM CARBINE BY KOISHIKAWA (TOKYO) ARSENAL WITH 1ST VARIANT FOLDING BAYONET. Serial number "199XX" with crisp markings and partially removed MUM. Early style folding bayonet. Early 1st type "B" stamped barrel. Unturned screws. Perfect working hidden cleaning rod compartment in buttstock(missing two piece rod). Correct sights. Original arsenal finish. Crisp arsenal stamp on wood behind lower tang. Very good bore with excellent rifling. Nice early example never cleaned.
