Rare one here. It is an undated black powder loading of #8 shot for the 38-55 Winchester Single Shot, Ballard and Marlin Rifles. Note there is no mention of the Model 1894 so this box pre-dates that model !! Except for a few tiny spots of the label missing along the top edge, one little ding along a short bottom edge, and a bit of writing in pencil on one end, this box is in excellent condition. There are no split seams. All lettering is sharp and clear. All 20 original rounds with matching headstamps remain inside. The tan box is starting to darken due to age but there are no major spots of staining. The top section remains very tight to the bottom; I had to be very careful getting it off to take the pictures of the rounds. You won't come across this one every day so don't let it get away!!
