ONE OF THE LOWEST SERIAL NUMBER, EARLIEST 1908 .25 AUTO PISTOLS I’VE SEEN! This One is #135. This is a super early example that would be very hard to find with a lower serial number. Has the correct early style slide markings with the last patent date of 1903. Nice hard rubber grips with the early “stylized C” with rampant colt motif. Overall in very fine condition considering age and the fact that most of these little pocket pistols were carried a lot and most show considerable wear. Fine blue overall with only normal light handling and edge wear. Bright bore and tight mechanics. Two-tone magazine is marked “CAL .25” over “COLT” on the bottom. Made within the first eight years of Colt’s auto pistol endeavors! This is a real prize.
