Description:
Here is one of the best Jack Haugh custom rifles. It is the rifle he submitted to join the American Custom Gunmakers Guild. Based on a Mauser action and in 458 Winchester Magnum, this rifle has a 24 inch barrel, a custom trigger with a very rear mounting in the trigger guard provides a 13.5 inch length of pull over a leather covered pad, and weights 9.15 pounds.
Sone of the other features are the French walnut stock, ebony forend tip, barrel band front sight and front swivel attachment. Jack's engraving includes scroll work, gold bands, elephants on the floorplate (the floorplate is engraved by Tommy Kaye) and a fantastic bolt handle. It also has a trap grip cap. matted receiver bridge and ring, engraved cross bolts a quarter rib and many other features.
