Description:
This fine old Smith & Wesson Model 3 2nd Model single action revolver is in .44 S & W caliber with an 8" barrel and is nickel plated. The gun is in excellent mechanical condition with all matching parts, bore is good with strong rifleing but a little dark as this is a black powder model. It retains about 70% nickel with some dark spots and wear but no major pitting, grips are very good with normal wear but no chips or cracks. This gun may have been factory refinished at some time as there is a star stamped on the butt of the gun next to the serial number. This gun was manufactured in the 1870's so is an antique.
