In 1987 Kimber of Oregon was contracted by the US Government to supply 20,000 to 25,000 target rifle. Thew contract spicified that these rifle be test to shoot 10 shot groups under .70 inches. These rifles were later surplused through the Civiliam Marksmanship Program.This Kimber of Oregon M82 Government is in excellent condition. It comes with the orginal target sights and is ready to take its place on the firing line.
