New from RJ RENNER is our remake of the classic Ruger Super Blackhawk into our "SUPERB" BLACKHAWK, our .44 POCKET RIFLE. Its 10.5-inch barrel not only provides better balance and swing for those tricky running shots, it also provides an increased sight radius and improved performance, making the .44 POCKET RIFLE just the ticket for big game handgun hunting.
We've improved the grip frame and fitted it with our custom grip design which provides the perfect-fitting Palm Swell for better control of recoil. We've also rounded off and polished all those nasty corners and sharp edges on the trigger and trigger guard making the .44 POCKET RIFLE a joy to handle and shoot. The grip frame is expertly re-fitted to the cylinder frame which is then casehardened for a most beautiful custom handgun.
We've also redesigned the hammer with more clearance so the spur does not dig into the skin of the shooting hand when cocked - a condition that can destroy accuracy. Additionally, we've reduced the weight of the hammer and increased the hammer spring tension for a quicker lock time, another feature that contributes to long-range accuracy. And, yes, we've tuned the action, too.
Our new Precision Shooting Sling has a quick adjusting Toggle that allows the sling to be instantly adjusted to provide perfect support from most any shooting position. We also include a HUNTER holster - the "Pocket" - as part of the package.
The .44 POCKET RIFLE is available for $1,750.00 or we can rework your 10.5-inch Super Blackhawk for $1,000. We can also provide a 10.5 inch barrel (or longer) if you wish us to rework a shorter-barreled Super Blackhawk for a slightly higher price. Yes, we can provide the POCKET RIFLE in other calibers as well.
