Description:
This holster was made by the Famous H. H. Heiser Co. to compete with lower price competitors. In my opinion I think it is the same quality of their standard line. The snap may be a bit cheaper and does not have the Heiser markings, but the workmanship and leather is every bit as good as their higher priced main line. This belt made by Bucheimer and mated with the Heiser holster which was marketed under the SPORTSMAN name. The belt has been shortened and now measures 38 inches to the center hole. with 20 bullet loops in .22 caliber. It is picture here in used condition showing much wear. Could be over dyed and buffed up if you wish. I kind of like it with this used look. This left hand holster is made from Premium Heavyweight Skirting Leather and will fit the Colt SAA 5 1/2 or 4 3/4 inch barrel.
The leather is totally alive and will provide a century of use. The holster alone is worth the price. My 1st Gen. .38 Special Colt is not included. We always answer questions and entertain offers.
