I have an authentic 1975 Mid-Run 40-X Sporter Repeater up for sale with RKW bowling ball finsih, hand-checkering, jeweled bolt and white line spacers. The gun was originallly ordered with an oil finish, but that was changed when a rush order was made by the customer and he had to opt for the RKW finsih instead. I can send you pictures of the stock inletting verifiy the originality of this gun and you can see that the serial number is in the correct position on the bolt handle for this run of guns from the Custom Shop. The gun features a really nice subtle Claro fiddleback grain. The gun has the original Walker Bolt Lock trigger. I rate the gun as 98% wood and 98% metal. Incredibly enough, the magazine feeds five for five; which in the world of 40-X rimfire repeaters is nearly unheard of!! It has a few dings and pecks on the stock and a few marks on the bluing that I have tried my best to photograph.
