SCARCE Little MERWIN & BRAY Single Shot DERINGER
One of Only 4,100 Made During the Civil War
Here we present an antique Merwin & Bray Single Shot Derringer, manufactured in New York circa 1863. The dates of manufacture were 1859-1866, encompassing the years of the American Civil War. This would have been a great conceal and carry weapon during the time of ?<p> the American Civil War.
The top of the barrel is marked “MERWIN & BRAY/NEW YORK”.
The overall condition is good. The barrel is dark with age. The brass frame is in good condition. The markings are clear and legible. The grips are in good shape. The right grip has more wear on it than the left. The bore is clear and bright. The action is strong.
