We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

Description:
This is a special custom finish AK pistol. The pistol itself is the popular Draco manufactured by Romarm in Romania. It is chambered for the classic 7.62x39 cartridge. The 9” forearm and its 5.69” handguard are the SLR model made by Midwest Industries. The same is true for the muzzle brake. The dust cover/receiver rail is made by Texas Weapon Systems. The grip is a Strike Industries product. The rubber plug at the bottom protects the storage space present in the grip. The receiver, gas piston block, and front sight have been cerakoted in ‘sniper grey’ color. The handguard has four picatinny slots per side, as well as an M-Lok slot and a roller bearing sling swivel retention point. The bottom has 3 M-Lok slots. The handguard has 13 picatinny slots. The dust cover has 15 slots. It is designed to be hinged to the gas piston block providing a more rigid mount for optics. The entire cover flips up rather than coming straight off as with the standard AK dust cover. Conveniently, the safety lever has cover for locking back the bolt though this a manual operation. Still, this makes operation of the AK easier. Should a quick examination of the bore be necessary, the user is no longer required to hold back the charging handle by hand the entire time. The pistol is like new, though no box is present. The bore is very clean and gives the impression the Draco has seen little, if any use. The only finish wear present are the marks made by the movement of the safety lever and gas piston block lever. AK and AR pistols have become very popular in recent years due to their smaller-than-rifle size and greater firepower than the standard 9mm or .45. In a way, they are descendants of the Universal Firearms Enforcer 3000. This was a pistol version of the classic M-1 Carbine of WWII. They used the same 15- and 30-round magazines as the rifle. Current rifle-caliber pistols also have the advantage of being able to use their larger counterparts’ magazines. AK and AR pistols are currently popular with both civilians and law enforcement.
