Description:
This has all the bells and whistles,the pommel cap is inlayed with a semi precious huge garnet, the blade is double acid etched with a great battle scene on one side and the U.S. and battle flags on the other,even the top of the blade has been etching. The pommel also has a silver inlay UNION, this silver hilt is a staff officers dream, the brass engraving is amazing, the double brass hangers are as ornate as it get,as is the drag. The silver grip has triple twisted wire ,just over the top on manufacturing, the ornate leather scabbard has pressed design, one tiny repair that effects nothing, all areas strong and above good blade. The brass basket style hand guard is an ornate eagle with flags and 13 stars. This sword is minty with all parts strong and correct, a few tiny ,tiny nicks ,maybe from battle on the blade? Hard to find in this condition now a days. This has the four leaf clover in the hand guard, and has been turned down to fit against the hip as most were. 859-533-5445.
