Description:
The Aircrewman USAF M-13 was produced from 1951-1957 as a special order for the Air Force to be used by pilots and crew members. In 1959 the Air Force distributed a letter declaring the aluminum cylinders unsafe, and that all be destroyed by flame-cutting, crushing or sawing, to be scrapped. This is why there are so few remaining examples out there. A fantastic and all-numbers matching example, including the original grips, which comes with the original black leather holster as well as the really seldom seen shoulder strap. The gun retains virtually 99% of the original blued and anodized finish and has only the faintest wear to the anodizing and one minor handling mark on the backstrap. You won't be able to find a better one in years of searching.
