This Winchester was produced in 1906. The rifle's serial number is 141793. The barrel is the full round 24 inch barrel chambered for the 33 Winchester. The front and rear sight are original to this rifle. The Lyman tang sight also appear to have been installed when this gun was new. The tang sight has the rare adjustable for windage peepsight. This rifle also has the rare three quarters magazine tube. The deluxe wood is stunning with vivid graining. The finish is intact. The stock and forend have no damage or cracks. The checkering is slightly worn by the forend. The checkering by the pistol grip is still sharp.The pistol grip hard rubber grip cap is intact. The bore is bright with sharp lands. The rifle butt plate has most of the original bluing. The barrel and magazine bluing would rate a 96% overall condition. The reciever would rate a 50% overall condition. The action locks up tight and works smoothly. This is a very nice condition deluxe Winchester with beatiful wood. The beatiful wood, pistol grip, tang sight and special order magazine help put this rifle out of the ordinary. This rifle would be a wonderful addition in any gun collection.
