Early Weatherby Sauer Junior Model Rifle. SN: S18xx. Ca;.224 Wby Mag. 24" Bbl. One standing leaf and express style ramped front sight. Weatherby Mark V action. Classic Weatherby style stock with skip-line checkering , rosewood tipped and diamond inlaid pistol grip cap. Double set triggers. 14 3/4" LOP over Sauer poly buttplate. Claw mounted detachable German made Supra 4x scope with post & crosshair reticle. Weight 7lbs10oz.
Condition: Gun is in very nice overall original condition. Virtually all original blue and oil finish remains throughout. Scant handling marks requisite with age. Bore brite and clean. Mechanics tight. Trigger pull crisp. Optics clear.
Gentlemen, this is a rare little gun and a real delight to hold. A early collectible Weatherby.
