Colt Baby Dragoon with Rammer. Also known as a Square Back ’49. Barrel length is 6”. Caliber .31. All numbers match. Old script initials on butt strap “G.F.J.” Two line New York barrel address. Action works and indexes correctly. Serial numbers match but the cylinder is worn but still has a crisp matching serial number so in our opinion the cylinder is renumbered. This revolver has an overall even gray patina. Grips are good plus with approximately 90% varnish. Butt strap has the initials G.F.T. on the bottom in old script and is original to the gun. The Baby Dragoon with lever is rare. Aside from the cylinder wear this is a good plus 6” Barrel Revolver.
