Payment Types Accepted: check or money order, Visa/MC with 3% charge Description: Half-stock percussion rifle made by LC Kersey, Redbluff Ca, approx 1850's. 32 3/4" octagon barrel to hooked breech. Barrel shows smooth, even brown patina. Two ramrod thimble, single wedge barrel retainer. Round muzzle for bullet starter. Barrel marked "LC Kersery, Redbluff Ca Cast Steel" on top, "Remington Cast Steel" on side flat, partially covered by wood. Ivory blade front sight, full buckhorn rear, missing elevator. Buckhorn sight has dent in top. Original ramrod has ball screw and missing cap on ram end. Bar-acion side lock only works with set trigger, may require cleaning and adjustment. Original hammer broken out approx. 1/4 of nose shroud. Modern nipple. Double set triggers function correctly. Iron buttplate, patchbox and trigger guard nicely fit.
