Just in....this very RARE... 1879...T&R 1st known Comemmorative to Czarist Russia(Dr. Shivago era) before the Bolshevek revolution.. is Titled "CZAR".... The USA was on much friendlier terms with Russia at that time...and COLT/Remington at that time made fine Royalty gifts at that time in history. This 22cal.(short) 6shot revolver is such an example. Overall condition rates at 90% or higher. The engraving is superb an in a pattern quite different from USA engravers at that time. The finish is in Nickel and is 98% + in coverage. The bore is near pristine and the action is very snug and works-performs as NEW..! It is approx. 7in. long. The Grips are 99.9%...! This antique revolver was made well before 1898 & does NOT require ANY FFL etc. to ship or own. I personally know nothing more regarding this fine piece of history.
