REDUCED - This is the nicest Remington Model 740 Woodsmaster we have ever had - rifle is excellent overall both metal and wood, showing almost no use whatever and with a period Redfield 4X Scope in see thru mounts (scope has an extra fine crosshair with dot reticle). Optics are perfect. Rifle is equipped with factory iron sights and original checkered aluminum buttplate. Serial range is 22055x. This rifle is so nice it would not be out of place in someone's Remington Rifle collection - one of the original Woodsmaster Rifles & so marked on the receiver!
