A good solid 1894 (serial # 1170) that mechanically seems to be in great overall shape, functions smoothly and tight. Overall condition is also quite good for it's age showing. I am sure some of the blue has been touched up but it is a rare first model and pretty cool guys.
The bore is almost perfect, wood fit is good haas matching wood and tang assembly marks 426-0. There are normal use and abuse marks and some interesting numbers stamped in the wood, no idea what it means, part of the cool history of it.

I am selling a number of my collectible winchesters and this is one of the many I may be offering, so if there is a particular model /configuration let me know as I have way too many to just say tell me what you have. If it is a winchester lever gun I have some rare variations of it.
Insurance is up to you, but if you do not elect to purchase it you are at risk vs having it covered. If this were an FFL it has to go to a liscensed FFL. I also ask that you ask any questions and also get any calrifying pictures now vs after you receive it. I want to ship it to a person once and returning it is not my hopes.
