Description:
This is only the second one of these we've ever seen. A Super Grade pencil-barrel 375 H&H. Nice, crisp, clean bore and chamber, excellent metal and wood finish. Stock has 13" pull over a fresh Silvers pad, has a beautiful, rich red color, sharp checkering, and a scarcely-encountered factory large gold initial oval! Lyman 48WJS rear sight has the later clearance machining, so the stock didn't need to get notched, whew! 375 Holland and Holland belted magnum Serial# 1110xx made 1949, one of the last type II transition receivers. A handsome seven pound, twelve ounce 375 bolt rifle...probably why it looks so good. *I* would not want to shoot it! Email or call to discuss the rifle. CA sale OK.
