c.1800 ORNATE European Antique FLINTLOCK Pistol
With Engraved Lock, Barrel & Pommel
Here we present an antique Flintlock Pistol, made circa 1800 in Europe. This would have been a nice pistol to have in your belt. It features a large, .64 caliber bore. The lock, hammer, barrel, and pommel are ornately engraved. There is a large decorative escutcheon on the top of the wrist. The stock is old but appears to be later than the other parts.
The overall condition is good. The metal surfaces are dark with age. The engravings are clear and visible. The stock is in very good condition. The bore is dark. The action on this pistol is strong.
