Description:
The model 1884 is a later variant of the Trapdoor Springfield rifles.  Manufactured between 1885 and 1890 the 1884 incorporated a Buffington rear sight which made it stand out from previous models.  This was one of the last single shot rifles to see service with the United States military.  This example is in good condition with minor wear and scratches.
